New AAU Indoor Track & Field Event Announced for February in Geneva, Ohio

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. (September 20, 2018) – The AAU will host its AAU Indoor Track & Field Midwest Invitational at the Spire Indoor Track facility in Geneva, Ohio on February 17, 2019.
LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. (September 20, 2018) – The AAU will host its AAU Indoor Track & Field Midwest Invitational at the Spire Indoor Track facility in Geneva, Ohio on February 17, 2019.
The Midwest Invitational will be the third major AAU Indoor Track & Field event held in Ohio during the 2019 season, joining the Tiffin/Black-Jack Track Holiday Invitation (December 2018) and Tiffin/Black-Jack Track Ice Breaker (January 2019).
“SPIRE Institute has a longstanding tradition of hosting great events,” said Charles Oliver, National Chairman for AAU Track and Field. “Northeast Ohio is a very strong area for AAU Track and Field, so we are extremely excited to be able to bring one of our first-class indoor track and field competitions to their backyard.”
The AAU Indoor Track & Field Midwest Invitational is one of nine major indoor events hosted across the country this year. Below is the full calendar of events for the 2019 season:
