UPDATE: 2020 AAU Club Championship & Primary Nationals

After careful consideration, including questions related to uncertainty surrounding facility availability, the 2020 AAU Primary National Championship & AAU Club Championship that were set to take place July 9-18 at ESPN Wide World of Sports will not be held.
Dear AAU Track & Field Family,
In recent weeks, the sports landscape has slowly started to re-open in the United States and across the world. From professional leagues to amateur sporting events, athletes are gearing up to compete on the national or local stage once again. While many states have begun phased re-opening of youth sports across the country, events large and small continue to feel the impact of COVID-19 (“Coronavirus”).
After careful consideration, including questions related to uncertainty surrounding facility availability, we are sorry to announce that the 2020 AAU Primary National Championship & AAU Club Championship set to take place July 9-18 at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida will not be held. This decision was not made lightly, but one AAU Track & Field, felt strongly had to be made. For participants with hotel accommodations through Disney Sports Travel, they will contact you to share more information regarding the cancellation of hotel and resort reservations soon.
For those track and field athletes still looking to compete in 2020, we are continuing to explore other competition opportunities for this season. Please stay tuned to www.aautrackandfield.org for that information as it becomes available.
Be sure to mark your calendars for the 2021 AAU Primary National Championship & AAU Club Championship at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida on July 8-17, 2021.
